Description:
The inner wall of the bladder consists of a special lining tissue - urothelium. Urothelial cells form a protective layer of glycoproteins and proteoglycans (the glycosamine-glycan layer) on its surface. This layer is an impermeable and neutralizing barrier to the toxic and irritating substances present in urine. In case of its disruption, increased susceptibility to bladder diseases, including recurrent bacterial cystitis, may occur.
One option for these patients is to supplement the building components of the glycosamine-glycan layer. Uroril soft capsules contain a combination of these building components – hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate for oral use. In addition to the aforementioned components, it also contains a turmeric extract and quercetin – antioxidants with an anti-inflammatory effect.
The soft capsule form can be chosen by various groups of patients. They are suitable after the treatment of acute bladder inflammation or during its treatment (also in combination with antibiotics), to support bladder functions at an increased risk of infections, or as complementary treatment during intravesical treatment containing hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate.
