Ialugen Plus 20g Cream is a two-component drug containing hyaluronic acid and silver sulfadiazinate.
Hyaluronic acid is the body's own substance that forms a natural part of the skin and mucous membranes, plays a key role in the healing process and optimizes the tissue recovery process of the organism. After topical application in the healing process, it supports cell migration and division and the formation of new blood vessels at the site of injury. It also reduces the uneven distribution of collagen fibres, preventing the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars.
Due to its bactericidal and bacteriostatic action, silver sulfadiazinate acts against or prevents the development of primary and secondary infections. It is effective against a wide range of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, including Candida albicans.
